The SUN2000-330KTL-H1 is part of the Huawei Utility Smart PV Solution for the Utility sector. The device is compatible with a variety of system topologies and can be integrated into them, ranging from traditional ground-mounted systems to hybrid projects with storage and grid-support components. A single platform for a wide range of requirements, without the need for custom solutions.
Huawei’s MBUS Power Line Communication transmits control commands and monitoring data directly over existing AC power lines, without the need for additional communication cabling. When combined with MBUS and the FusionSolar platform, this creates a seamless communication infrastructure that scales with the size of the system.
Huawei’s FusionSolar Smart PV Management System creates a central database for all connected SUN2000-330KTL-H1 inverters. Remote monitoring, automated alerts, yield forecasts, and smart I-V curve diagnostics (optional) are available identically on all devices. This simplifies training for service teams and enables multi-park management via a single platform.
The SUN2000-330KTL-H1 is designed exclusively for use in large photovoltaic systems and utility-scale solar farms in the megawatt range. Typical applications include ground-mounted systems, large-scale hybrid projects, and grid-stabilizing solar farms. For commercial and residential installations, other models from the Huawei product line are recommended.
With a maximum DC input voltage of 1,500 V, significantly longer strings can be implemented than with conventional 1,000-V systems. This reduces the number of cables, junction boxes, and other balance-of-system components required, which significantly lowers the installation costs of large-scale systems.
The SSLD is a smart string disconnector that disconnects the affected string from the system within milliseconds in the event of abnormal currents or reverse current situations. This significantly increases the system’s fire safety and protects both the components and the system itself.
The device features six independent MPP trackers. Each tracker independently tracks the optimal operating point of its assigned string array. This provides a clear yield advantage over inverters with fewer trackers, particularly in cases of varying module orientations, partially shaded arrays, or mixed module technologies.
The Smart I-V Curve Diagnosis automatically analyzes the current-voltage characteristic curve of each string and compares it with reference values. Deviations that indicate PID effects, hotspots, partial shading, or string failures are thus detected without requiring service personnel to manually inspect each string. This reduces O&M costs and increases plant availability.
RS485 and MBUS interfaces are available as standard. Full integration with the Huawei FusionSolar platform enables centralized system monitoring, remote maintenance, and SCADA connectivity.
